USB Type-C 2.1 cables with support for 240 W power and 40 Gbit/c data will soon appear on sale
The small Club3D store announced the appearance of USB Type-C 2.1 cables in its assortment with Power Delivery support to 240 watts, as well as data transfer at speeds up to 40 Gbit/s. The company offers a choice of three different cables, each of which is capable of transmitting current with a voltage of 48 volts and a current force of 5 amperes. These models differ in different data transfer speeds, where the youngest is limited by 480 megabits per second, and the oldest 20 and 40 gigabits per second. Thanks to compatibility with the DisplayPort standard, senior models are able to transmit an image to monitors at 4K60Hz and 8K60Hz, respectively.
At the time of writing this news, the store has not yet announced the start of the start of sales, as well as the prices of new cables, but you can be sure that they will not be cheap.
