Schröder wants to play at EM for Germany
NBA-Star Dennis Schröder wants to play again for the basketball national team. Germany's currently best player announced his participation in the European Championship from 1 to 18 September, which takes place among other things in Cologne and Berlin.
Last summer, Schröder had lost in Tokyo at the Olympic Games, because the German Basketball Association could not complete insurance coverage despite all efforts. Schröder had speculated on a new NBA contract for more than $ 100 million, which no insurance had wanted to secure it. The Point Guard had supported the German team as a spectator in the qualifying tournament in Split.
Only last week the 28-year-old was changing the Boston Celtics to the Houston Rockets in exchange with his buddy Daniel Theis. His contract there runs out in summer.
The native Braunschweiger wants to come to Berlin to support the basketball lions in the cup at the top Four tournament, as his new manager Marcus Höfl announced. Schröder is the sole shareholder of the club.
