Did Disney plan? Release

The new film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still running in cinemas worldwide, but soon all Disney+ customers will be able to watch the film from the way to home. At the moment, a publication date is even circulating, which was probably accidentally shared by Disney by the German Instagram account. Subscribeers can allegedly watch the new film completely at no extra charge on June 22, 2022.

When does Doctor Strange 2 appear on Disney+?

The message mentioned was deleted a short time later. The information may have been announced too early, or they are simply not correct. In the past, Disney has imposed a 45-day window in which new films can only be seen in the cinema. On June 22, 2022, the company would actually comply with this time window, but Disney does not always adhere to its own specifications. For example, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten were only released 70 days after Kino start on Disney+, and at Eternals it was also a full 68 days.

So it is not unlikely that Doctor Strange 2 will only be available for users at the Disney+ streaming service after about 70 days. Of course, the company would like to generate the maximum profit with its new blockbuster. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently in number 1 on the cinema charts in some countries and has already achieved over $ 800 million sales. It cannot be ruled out that Disney will still offer the film exclusively in cinemas until July.

In other news about your favorite ~~ Morbius ~~ Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ms. Marvel starts a completely new series on June 8, 2022, which includes six episodes. Marvel fans will soon be able to look forward to Thor: Love and Thunder in the cinemas and on August 17th on Disney+ at SHE-Hulk.
