Deadpool was about to appear in Dr. Strange 2

Dr. Strange in The Multiverse of Madness featured a number of interesting cameos, bringing in characters that until recently seemed impossible due to movie rights issues. And one of the most expected familiar faces was the Deadpool, who would have appeared in the end, but not in the way that many fans were expecting.

Both Deadpool and Cable are said to have appeared on a billboard reminiscent of the second film's marketing campaign. The Marvel Studios: Assembled episode for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on Disney Plus revealed as much, giving fans a look at concept art from the scene that it was never filmed.

The art features two different images, in which Deadpool and Cable recreate da Vinci's The Creation of Adam painting, which was used in advertising for Deadpool 2, and one of the antihero in an Uncle Sam I Want You pose and hat.
